Industry meeting & INPROCAP @ ASTRON

BigScience and INPROCAP join forces in this industry meeting at ASTRON, Dwingeloo to inform companies about developments and opportunities at Big Science Organisations.

Companies are welcome to get to know the BigScience network of Industrial Liaison Officers and multiple Big Science Organisations, and are invited to connect with Big Science Organisations to discuss potential solutions to specific technical challenges. Several companies will share insights into their experiences working with Big Science Organisations, showcasing the opportunities and the challenges such projects may entail. We will end the industry meeting with networking drinks, the opportunity to further connect with the ILO’s and an optional tour of ASTRON.


ET Industry Computing Workshop 2026

Nikhef, Amsterdam, NL

The objective of the workshop is twofold: firstly, to examine the opportunities that the development of information technologies will offer for realizing the scientific potential of the Einstein Telescope; and secondly, to explore possible approaches to collaboration with industry that can be effective in enabling beneficial synergies.

Topics for the workshop will be hardware and software technologies, future trends and sustainability issues .

 


Einstein Telescope Vacuum and Cryogenics Industrial Workshop: opportunities and challenges

CERN, Geneva, CH

The purpose of the workshop is to bring together the leading institutes that are designing the vacuum and cryogenic systems of the Einstein Telescope and European Big Science industries specialised in vacuum and cryogenic technologies, to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead. The event will be held in CERN, where the ET vacuum pilot sector is housed.
