On the occasion of the retirement of Gerard Cornet and the departure of ILO-net members Rob Klöpping, Toon Verhoeven and Eric Boom SRON organises a mini symposium on Big Science in Leiden. A number of speaker of reputation will give their view on various aspects of Big Science; motivation, use and necessity as well as the impact on innovation.
