RTI summit Copenhagen

This event was organised related to the Danish presidency of the European Commission and focused on the role of Research Technology Infrastructures – like TNO, DTI, VTT, etc. – in the Big Science domain.  How does their role differ from the Big Science organisations themselves and how could the connection and collaboration between these two types of organisations be improved to the benefit of the European industry keeping in mind the messages in the Draghi report on the competitiveness of the European industry. The event was shaped with a number of panel discussions and topical parallel sessions.

In relation to the Big Science Business Forum in 2026, it was valuable as input for the event on the calendar in Brussels with the European Commission. The companies present were informed about the opportunities to participate in the BSBF2026 in Maastricht.
