CERN webinar on Electromechanical Power Supply Equipment

On Wednesday 15 October 2025, CERN will organise an online thematic industrial event that will concern Electromechanical Power Supply Equipment.

The event aims to target suppliers from CERN Member and Associate Member States with particular focus on those with capability in the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of:

•    Power transformers
•    Busbars and racks
•    Circuit breakers
•    Switchgear
•    Disconnectors
•    Distribution panels and assemblies
•    Other low- and medium-voltage supply components
•    Etc.

The event will communicate on forthcoming projects and how electromechanical power supply equipment is managed at CERN.

An afternoon session will be dedicated to virtual B2B meetings amongst CERN Technical parties, Procurement Team and Companies. Taking into account the positive feedback from the previous thematic events, companies will also have the possibility to book meetings amongst themselves.

Upon regsitraion, the CERN procurement team will make a selection. Companies will be informed about their approval status via B2match. 

Our intention is to have all companies registered on the B2Match platform by the Friday 19th September 2025, leaving 3 weeks for the organization of the 1-to-1 on-line meetings. These meetings will be initiated by CERN participants and priority will be given to companies with origins of manufacturing in poorly balanced Member and Associate Member States (This includes The Netherlands!) and/or companies new to CERN.  Therefore, not all participating companies will be guaranteed an invitation for 1-to-1 meetings.
