De belangrijkste conclusie van deze eerste Europese vergadering van alle Big Science ILO's is dat we unaniem van mening zijn dat er een Europees ILO-Net moet komen. Denemarken en ESS nemen daarvoor het initiatief. Een volgende Europees ILO-Net vergadering zal eind 2018 worden gehouden.
Op de vooravond van de BFBS werd de eerste Europese vergadering gehouden van alle Big Science ILO's.

ASTRON at European Microwave Week 2025
From 21–26 September 2025, ASTRON participated in the European Microwave Week in Utrecht, the largest RF and microwave trade show in Europe. Together with SRON at the Dutch pavilion, we showcased our technologies and research infrastructure, connecting with peers and industry experts from across Europe.
2nd Meeting of the ELI ILO-Network in Szeged Hungary
On 22 May, European Industrial Liaison Officers (ILO) were invited to the ELI facility in Szeged, Hungary for the second ELI ILO-net meeting. The aim of the ELI ILO-net is to strengthen connections between the research infrastructures and industrial stakeholders in European countries with the key objective to promote research and development collaborations and to create long-term public-private partnerships with industry.
